Bowling For Rhinos Trip Winner Rules
See the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy Tourism Slideshow to see the beauty

  • The top 2 money raisers each year in "Bowling For Rhinos" will win a two week trip to Lewa Wildlife Conservancy near Isiolo, Kenya.
  • The 2 individuals will visit the sanctuary together and arrange their trip with the assistance of the BFR Coordinator and through the Administration office of AAZK,Inc.
  • The 2 winners may each bring a guest but the guest must pay their own expenses and be able to lodge in the same room as the winner.
  • Side trips, while a Lewa, may be arranged, however persons participating in the side trip are expected to pay all expenses.
  • The winners trips are paid for by a fund administered by the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy and AAZK, Inc. These funds are derived from 4% of the yearly BFR monies raised and /or funds contributed by LWC and AAZK,Inc. The allowance for each plane ticket shall not exceed $2,000. This includes round trip air fare from winners location to Nairobi and round trip air fare from Nairobi to LWC on Air Kenya and one night hotel in Nairobi.
  • The winners must be paid, National AAZK members in good standing at the time of their bowling event.
  • The same person can only win the trip once. This is to encourage more people to try to win and give an opportunity for more people to visit the sancuary and see the benefit of their hard work.
  • Canadians count their total in Canadian money. Therefore, if a Canadian raises, $5,000 but it only equals $3,000 US dollars, their $5,000 counts in the contest.
  • Only money which is turned in to the BFR National Coordinator by September 1 of the same year can be counted in the contest.
